About Me
Eliandras "Ellie" Sims received her Bachelor's in Music Performance from Meredith in 2024. As a vocalist she studied with Dr. Jean Wozencraft-Ornellas. She has performed multiple times with Meredith's White Iris Light Opera, including the role of Josephine in HMS Pinafore. She performed with North Carolina Opera's La Bohéme as a youth supervisor, their productions of Madame Butterfly and Il Trovatore as well as North Carolina Opera's Education and Outreach Program, which brings opera to schools. She participated in Taos Opera Institute's 2024 summer program in Taos, New Mexico. She won Meredith College's Concerto Aria competition, earning the opportunity to perform with the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra (RSO). Ellie is the Artistic Operations Manager for the RSO, organizing and coordinating personnel. She recently performed “For Good” from Wicked with the Triangle String Orchestra. She performed in the choir for Andrea Bocelli in the Lenovo Center in Raleigh for his 2026 Romanza Tour. When she is not working, Ellie enjoys spending time with her loved ones.
